Hello, I’m Kristin Fenwick
Welcome! I am glad you’re here. I am a Colorado- and Florida-certified teacher who taught secondary English for 11 years and I work closely with the homeschool community. I hold a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MA in English Literature from Wichita State University. I enjoy reading, gardening, British period dramas, and exploring the beautiful outdoors.
My husband and I have two teens – a son attending CSU and a daughter who just graduated from our homeschool who is headed to the University of West Florida. We have experienced everything over their educational journeys–public, charter, private, and homeschooling. Each year is unique and each child has his/her own needs.
As in any life, it’s not all roses. I fought a long and difficult battle against chronic Lyme Disease that altered our lives drastically and still lingers in the form of migraines and food allergies.
However, my passion for educational choice and supporting homeschooling families has never wavered. I look forward to encouraging you on your homeschool journey!
